EOTC Week - Day 1 - Bowling

Get ready to bowl! We tried our hand at indoor bowls. This was a really new experience for many and it was great to see everyone giving it a go.

 

 

 

 

EOTC Week - Day 1 - Bike Safety

We had a great start to our EOTC week with Phil from Sport Manawatu coming to check our helmets and bikes today to ensure they were all up to speed, especially for the Triathlon tomorrow. The children were required to do the ABCD check. A = Air in tyres; B = Brakes; C = Chain;  D = Drop Test to ensure the front wheel is secure.. The children also ensured that their helmets were correctly on.

 

 

 

 

 

RNZAF - Helicopter

We were very lucky to have the opportunity of the RNZAF joining Hokowhitu School as they landed their helicopter in the school grounds. We were suppose to have it arrive in the morning but due to weather it managed to make it in the afternoon instead. We had a chance to talk to the crew and ask questions then take a photo inside the helicopter itself.

 

   
 

 

 

WANTED: Ice Cream Containers with Lids

If you have any spare and empty ice cream containers (with lids) that we could have by Wednesday next week. We are looking for approximately 10 containers.
